Locum Vascular Surgeon — Twin Falls, ID (Emergency Call Coverage, Above-Market Pay)

A well-established regional medical center in Twin Falls, Idaho seeks a Locums Vascular Surgeon to provide call coverage and support an experienced vascular program serving Southern Idaho and nearby communities. This role offers the opportunity to join a mature, well-supported service with a dedicated vascular clinic and laboratory, comprehensive OR capabilities, and a strong referral network.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery call coverage for the Emergency Department
• Evaluate and manage urgent inpatient and outpatient vascular consultations
• Assess and treat urgent clinic referrals and perform vascular surgical procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers on perioperative care, follow-up, and discharge planning
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and care coordination
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Patient Flow and Team Structure

• Urgent vascular interventions are admitted via the Emergency Department
• Medical admissions are co-managed with hospitalists and intensivists
• Trauma patients are managed by the trauma service with vascular consultation as needed
• APPs support ongoing inpatient and outpatient vascular care and follow-up

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited vascular surgery fellowship or integrated vascular surgery training program
• Active Idaho medical license preferred or ability to obtain
• Current DEA registration required
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred
