Licenses/Certifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years RN experience (Med/Surg/Telemetry preferred)

Assignment Details:

• Patient load: 5–6 med/surg telemetry patients per shift
• Reports to: Department Manager (direct), Director of Nursing (indirect)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, patient-centered nursing care using clinical judgment to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor and manage med/surg telemetry patients, recognize complications, and respond appropriately.
• Administer prescribed treatments, execute nursing regimens, and provide health counseling and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and patient support systems to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Practice within Ohio scope of practice (ORC §4723.01) and adhere to Ohio Administrative Code Standards for Competent Practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
• Supervise or delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and seek clarification for unclear or invalid orders.
