Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Santa Barbara, CA (13-Week, 35-hr wk)

Join a Santa Barbara-based healthcare team as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week, non-travel assignment starting July 27, 2026. This full-time position follows a Monday–Friday schedule and offers a local rate of $2,209 per 35-hour week.

Requirements:

• Current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders.
• Determine diagnoses and severity levels, then develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice quality, receptive and expressive language skills.
• Manage swallowing disorders and instruct patients and families on safe-feeding techniques, compensatory strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care.
