What you’ll do

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with other clinicians.
• Administer medications and treatments following approved techniques, facility policies, standards of care, and Wisconsin practice law.
• Create and maintain clear, timely documentation that meets standards of care.
• Develop and carry out individualized patient care plans based on physician orders and facility policy, including educating patients and families.
• Participate in unit- or department-level performance improvement activities and shared governance when applicable.
• Share clinical expertise and provide guidance across units to support the patient’s ongoing plan of care.
• Apply critical thinking to protect patient safety and improve the patient experience, and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
