Join a busy, collaborative hematology/oncology team in New Ulm, MN, providing outpatient-focused care with inpatient collaboration as needed. This locum tenens position is clinical only, based in a 686-bed hospital using EPIC, and supported by an experienced infusion team, nurse navigators, and other support staff.
Schedule and timeline
- Start: ASAP – ongoing
- Typical shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Who you’ll see
- All ages across the cancer care continuum
- Volume: roughly 11–16 patients per day
- Scope: management of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies in the outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient collaboration
What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive medical oncology and hematology care with continuity for your patients
- Work closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and multidisciplinary providers (including telehealth-supported services)
- Deliver outpatient hematology/oncology services and participate in team-based care plans
Requirements
- Active Minnesota license
- Board certification as a PA or APP
- Comfortable working within EPIC and with available clinical support staff
