Required:
- Active, valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
- Personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
- Apply therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively.
- Instruct and progress patients in exercises; provide education to patients and families on home programs and recovery goals.
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and promptly in medical records.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
