Join a collaborative team in Rutland, VT as a contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This full-time weekday role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is: Travel: $1,995/35-hours; Local: $1,967/35-hours.

What you’ll bring

• An active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Vermont.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive strengths and the environments they live in to identify barriers and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help people regain or improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice everyday tasks with patients to increase function and confidence.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to manage conditions and promote independence.
• Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, person-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back to home, community, and work settings.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
