Contract opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Columbia, MO. Assignment runs 06/22/2026–06/30/2026, with four 12.5-hour shifts (07:00 AM–07:30 PM). Rate: $48.3/hr.

Shift schedule:

• Week of 6/22: Monday 6/22, Tuesday 6/23
• Week of 6/29: Monday 6/29, Tuesday 6/30

Qualifications:

• Active RT license/certification in the practicing state
• Minimum 1 year hospital or acute-care experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Competence with ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking skills, and ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced settings

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer oxygen therapy and inhaled medications
• Manage mechanical ventilation, perform airway management, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene
• Document treatments and patient responses in the EMR
• Educate patients on respiratory care and equipment use
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on treatment planning
