Part-Time Rapid Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Martinsburg, WV

Join our Rapid Care team in Martinsburg, West Virginia, as a part-time Advanced Practice Provider. We’re looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who enjoys flexible scheduling, a collaborative clinical setting, and delivering high-quality care for patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries.

What you’ll do

• Perform thorough evaluations, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute and episodic medical issues.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and perform procedures within your scope and credentialing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals and follow-up care when needed.
• Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to support excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications—Nurse Practitioner

• Master’s degree from a CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• National APRN certification and eligibility or current licensure as an RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• FNP or ACNP preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required; PALS encouraged.

Qualifications—Physician Assistant

• Graduate of an ARC-PA–approved PA program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• NCCPA certification required and licensure or eligibility through the West Virginia Board of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required.

Experience

• Background in acute care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred, though eligible new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the care team.
