We’re looking for a Physician Assistant to join a neurosurgery team in Boston, MA for a locum tenens assignment at a hospital. This is an inpatient, clinical-only role covering adults from Sep 7, 2026 through Dec 7, 2026. You’ll work three 13-hour shifts per week (6:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), with no nights or holiday coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
What you’ll do
- Round with residents and help develop and coordinate patient care plans alongside the resident team and attending physicians.
- Manage inpatient neurosurgery care (this role does not include OR duties).
- Review and update orders, handle discharges, and ensure continuity of care.
- Remove drains as needed (Hemovac/JP).
- Use Epic for documentation and care coordination.
Who we’re looking for
- Active MA medical license required.
- Board certified in Neurosurgery.
- Minimum of one year of neurosurgery experience.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with residents and attendings in a fast-paced hospital setting.

- Credentialing timeline: 90 days.
