What you’ll bring

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program

What you’ll be doing

• Work alongside the RN and surgical team, providing focused direct patient care as needed.
• Prepare, handle, and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Stay informed about the procedure and anticipate the surgeon’s needs to keep cases running smoothly.
• Set up, maintain, and protect the sterile field throughout the operation.
• Clean, prepare, and package instruments for sterilization and disinfection.
• Help with room turnover between cases—cleaning and prepping the space for the next patient.
• Follow AORN Recommended Practices and departmental policies to support patient safety and clinical competency.
• Manage time and supplies responsibly, and be a resource-conscious team player.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and pitch in wherever needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
