Job Description
Join a well-established Level III NICU backed by a multidisciplinary team with decades of regional service. The unit partners closely with experienced nursing and respiratory therapy staff to deliver high-quality, collaborative neonatal care.
Coverage need
- 10–14 days per month
Schedule
- In-house: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- On-call: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 24-hour coverage model
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Neonatology preferred; Board Eligible candidates considered
- Current NRP certification required
- Strong procedural proficiency, including:
- Neonatal intubation
- Chest tube placement
- Central line placement
- Paracentesis
- Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
- Exchange transfusion
- Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling)
- Ventilator management, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
