Contract travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join Samaritan Health Services’ Hospice/Palliative team. Evergreen Hospice provides compassionate, patient- and family-centered care across Linn, Benton, Marion, Polk, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties, delivering services in home settings including private residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and adult foster homes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide intermittent skilled nursing visits focused on pain and symptom management.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call nursing coverage as scheduled.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members (medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, and trained volunteers).
- Facilitate medication and equipment delivery as appropriate.
- Support patients’ families and provide bereavement resources.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license at time of submission.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
