Join a multidisciplinary community health center in North Chesterfield (Richmond area) to provide full-time outpatient family medicine coverage. This locum tenens role begins Sept 7 and is ongoing, offering Monday–Friday shifts from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with an expected patient panel of ~25 patients per day.
Clinical responsibilities
- Deliver 100% outpatient primary care including preventive services, acute illness care, chronic disease management, family medicine, community health, and health maintenance
- Perform physical exams; diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions; manage medications
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies; coordinate referrals to specialist network as needed
- Integrate behavioral health, provide patient education, and support healthcare maintenance
Practice environment and support
- Work within a multidisciplinary primary care team and community health center staff
- Access to specialist backup via referral network
- Providers may be assigned to any of three clinic locations in the Richmond area based on operational needs
- Standard outpatient clinic equipment and EMR (unspecified)
