Patient Population and Volume
- Adults and geriatrics
- Outpatient: ~16 patients/day
- Inpatient consults: ~10–15 patients/day
Facility and Systems
- Department size: 270 beds
- EMR: Epic
- Coverage reason: Vacation coverage
Privileges and Credentialing
- Temporary privileges available
- Credentialing timeline: 90 days
Required Qualifications
- State license: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ
- Board: BC or BE
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Required Procedures / Clinical Skills
- Pacemaker implantation
- ICD implantation (traditional and subcutaneous)
- Loop recorder implantation and explantation
- Ablations: AVN, SVT, typical AFL
Clinical Duties
- Provide full-spectrum electrophysiology services (procedures listed above)
- Manage outpatient clinic (~16 patients/day)
- Provide inpatient consults (~10–15/day)
- Collaborate with one assigned outpatient clinical team and one assigned inpatient APP
- Document and enter orders in Epic
Compliance
- Must meet credentialing and licensing requirements prior to start date
