Locum Tenens Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Tacoma, WA (Level II Trauma, Call 1:6, Travel/Lodging Covered)

We’re seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Tacoma, WA. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient care with clinical responsibilities plus call coverage. Start date is ASAP and coverage is ongoing, with specific shifts and call schedule to be determined.

What you’ll do:

• Manage assigned patients on rounds and provide trauma coverage.
• Take beeper call on a 1:6 rotation with a 30-minute response expectation.

Facility and support:

• Trauma Level II hospital using Epic for charting.
• You’ll be supported by one medical assistant and one APP.
• Hospital privileges are required (temporary privileges are not available).

Credentials:

• Board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Washington medical license required.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Logistics:

• This is supplemental coverage.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency.
