Required qualification
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
Primary responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Implement intervention plans to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence in daily living.
- Instruct patients in the safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document treatment, progress, and changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
- Follow safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe therapy environment.
