Locum Tenens Breast Surgeon — Hackensack, NJ (Immediate Start)

Immediate locum tenens opportunity in Hackensack, NJ to join a well-established breast surgery program and work with a multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality patient care.

Compensation: $350 per hour

Position details

• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with benign and malignant breast disease
• Conduct surgical consultations, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care
• Deliver comprehensive preoperative and postoperative management
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, APPs, radiologists, medical and radiation oncologists, and other team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery; fellowship training or substantial experience in breast surgery preferred
• Proven clinical experience in breast surgery required
• Active New Jersey medical license required
• Available to start coverage immediately
