Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Nights (3 Sites North of Boston)

We are seeking an experienced Locum Emergency Department Physician to provide high-quality care across three sites just north of Boston. This temporary role offers competitive pay and the chance to practice in a well-regarded clinical environment while enjoying easy access to Boston’s cultural, academic, and coastal attractions.

Compensation

• $275 per hour

Position highlights

• Coverage at three sites north of Boston
• 3–4 shifts per month required
• Greatest need: overnight shifts
• No pediatrics; not a trauma center
• All candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients efficiently and compassionately
• Deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care across a broad adult patient population
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and dispositions
• Support and participate in patient care quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license
• Current DEA registration
