Registered Nurse Unit Manager (Contract) — Siler City, NC — 9-Week Assignment

We’re seeking an experienced RN to step into a Nurse Unit Manager role in Siler City, NC. This is a local, contract position starting ASAP for approximately 9 weeks. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and the pay is $2,360 for a 40-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• An active, valid Registered Nurse license in your state
• Prior nursing leadership experience
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll do

• Lead and support your nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), making sure policies and best practices are followed
• Oversee patient care—ensure accurate assessments, safe medication administration, timely documentation, and adjustments to care plans as needed
• Help manage staffing and scheduling to keep patient care running smoothly
• Coach and mentor staff to support their professional development and clinical growth
• Monitor quality and compliance, conduct audits, and drive improvements when issues are identified
• Coordinate communication across the healthcare team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
• Advocate for patients, address concerns promptly, and promote a respectful care environment
• Respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols
• Ensure all electronic health record entries are complete and accurate
• Stay informed about changing healthcare regulations and help the team remain compliant
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
