Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (or until cases complete)
Clinical Scope
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
- Typical daily volume: ≤20 cases
- Case mix: Urology, GYN, GI endoscopy, plastics, orthopedics, occasional dental
- Required procedures: General anesthesia for listed case types
Facility & Support
- Locations/bed counts: Brookville (35), Huntingdon (71), Tyrone (25)
- EMR: Cerner
- Support: CRNA available at each location
Credentials & Compliance
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license required
- Board: Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- DEA registration: Required
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS current
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years post-training
- Credentialing timeline: 2–3 weeks for limited issues; otherwise 30–60 days
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care for general cases
- Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs at each site
- Monitor patient safety and vital signs throughout procedures
- Document care accurately in Cerner EMR
