Contract Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) — Carmichael, CA (14-week; Local $1554/35-hr)

We’re looking for a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join a team in Carmichael, CA on a 14-week contract beginning June 29, 2026. This is a local, non-travel role with a weekday schedule (Mon–Fri) offering 35 hours per week at a rate of $1,554/35-hours.

What you’ll do

• Support the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and carrying out prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
• Administer therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively.
• Teach patients how to perform home exercises and educate patients and their families to support recovery.
• Keep thorough, accurate patient documentation and communicate regularly with the PT and the rest of the healthcare team.
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility protocols at all times.

What we need from you

• A valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
