Join a pediatric outpatient otolaryngology team in Portland, OR (97225) on a locum tenens basis to cover a maternity/paternity vacancy. This clinical-only assignment runs Aug 31, 2026 – Feb 26, 2027, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with an average daily census of 14 pediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient evaluation and management of pediatric ENT conditions, including tonsil/adenoid disease and otitis media.
• Conduct post-operative follow-up for pediatric urology patients.
• Perform procedures as needed: flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, foreign body removal, wound assessment, and suture removal.
• Document encounters and coordinate care in Epic EMR with supervising physicians.

Clinical setting and support

• Outpatient clinic using Epic.
• Support staff: 2 RNs, 2–3 MAs, 2 PA/NP colleagues, and 3 office staff.

Requirements and credentials

• BC or genuinely BE in Physician Assistant practice; experience in ENT required; pediatric urology experience is a plus.
• Oregon state license and DEA registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.
• Preferred procedural skills: flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, foreign body removal, wound assessment, suture removal.

• Credentialing with payors required; targeting a late August/September 1 start.
