Unit: Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown (may float to ED and MCH as needed)

Required credentials and experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 5 years RN experience
• Able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
• Willing to float to Emergency Department and Maternal/Child Health (MCH) units when required
• Must work every-other-weekend rotation

Core responsibilities:

• Provide progressive care/stepdown nursing for assigned patients
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned (staff coordination, unit flow, escalation)
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per unit protocols
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team and document timely
• Float to ED and MCH and perform required duties on those units when directed

Schedule and expectations:

• Night shift with every-other-weekend coverage
• Independent practice and leadership duties expected throughout assignment
