Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician guidance.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document vital signs continuously and record changes in patient status.
- Manage wound care: clean, dress, evaluate, and monitor for infection or complications.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care as appropriate.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols.
