We’re seeking an experienced electrophysiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Flagstaff, AZ, working across both the hospital and the in-office clinic. This is a clinical-only assignment with weekday shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM).
Assignment window: July 20, 2026 – October 19, 2026, with additional dates later in the year. Specific coverage dates:
- Jul 20–24, 2026
- Aug 3–7, 2026
- Aug 10–14, 2026
- Aug 17–21, 2026
- Aug 24–27, 2026
- Sep 14–18, 2026
- Oct 5–9, 2026
- Nov 16–20, 2026
- Nov 23–25, 2026
- Dec 21–24, 2026
- Dec 28–31, 2026
What you’ll be doing
- Provide electrophysiology care for adult patients in clinic and hospital settings.
- Perform EP procedures, with an emphasis on ablations.
- Manage moderate sedation independently.
- Do hospital consults (approximately 3–4/day), clinic visits (20–22 patients/day), and EP cases (about 4–6/day).
- Use the Abbott EnSite X mapping system and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
Facility and tools
- Large regional facility (268 beds) using Cerner for electronic medical records.
Credentials and requirements
- Active Arizona medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- AZ DEA registration required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year post-training EP experience.
- Must have performed at least 100 EP cases in the past 2 years, with strong ablation experience.
- Comfortable independently administering moderate sedation and using the Abbott EnSite X system and performing TEEs.
Logistics
- Credentialing typically takes about 30 days.
