Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Nights, Correctional Facility (State Farm, VA)

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a clinical team at a correctional facility in Hampton, Virginia. This is a contract, night-shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) that starts ASAP and pays $36/hour. You’ll work closely with physicians and RNs to deliver hands-on nursing care while following facility and state standards.

Must-haves

• Active Virginia LPN license
• Current CPR certification

What you’ll do

• Participate in screening, evaluating, and caring for inmates under physician/RN supervision
• Take and record vital signs and document medical information accurately
• Prepare patients for exams or treatments and assist as needed
• Set up rooms, sterile instruments, and equipment; monitor and restock supplies
• Coordinate with medical and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions
• Provide appropriate nursing interventions in emergencies
• Follow state regulations and facility policies and procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by the facility
