- Call only coverage -- in-house call required
- Call ratio: 1:3
- 10 - 15 patients seen per 24-hour call period
- 20 phone consults average per 24-hour period
- Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required
- Open and endoscopic CV/thoracic surgery skills required
- TAVR, CABG, VATs, LVAD, and valve procedures required
- Bronchoscopy and vent management skills required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
