Job Description

High-Demand Rheumatology Opportunity | West Central Georgia | Be the Only Game in Town

Location: West Central Georgia  |  Schedule: 4-Day Work Week  |  Setting: Established Outpatient Practice

If you have ever wanted to step into a community that genuinely needs you, this is that opportunity. West Central Georgia is an underserved market with a high demand for rheumatologic care and virtually no local competition — meaning you will build a thriving, impactful practice from day one. This is not a startup situation, however. You will be joining a well-established practice with the infrastructure, equipment, and support already in place so you can hit the ground running.

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity comes with a compensation package that reflects the value you bring to the community:

•      Base compensation: Up to $325,000 annually

•      RVU-based production bonus — your productivity is rewarded directly

•      $25,000 sign-on bonus

•      J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available

Practice Highlights

This is a thoughtfully built practice designed to let you focus on patient care — not administrative chaos. Here is what you can expect from day one:

•      4-day work week — built-in work-life balance without sacrificing earning potential

•      15 to 18 patients per day — a manageable, sustainable patient volume

•      State-of-the-art equipment — modern tools to support high-quality rheumatologic care

•      Infusion center with 14 chairs — a dedicated, fully equipped space for biologic and infusion therapies

•      340B drug pricing program — significant cost savings for your patients on specialty medications

Why West Central Georgia?

West Central Georgia offers a quality of life that is increasingly hard to find. The region combines an affordable cost of living, a welcoming community feel, and genuine access to outdoor recreation, dining, and local culture. And for those who value connectivity, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is just one hour away — keeping you linked to major cities and travel without the chaos of living in a metro area. The demand for rheumatology care here is significant and largely unmet — which means you will make a real difference for patients who have been waiting far too long to see a specialist. For a physician who wants to own their market, build meaningful patient relationships, and still be home for dinner, this checks every box.

Requirements

•      Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology

•      Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology

•      J-1 and H-1B visa candidates welcome to apply

Ready to Own Your Market?

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-demand, low-competition market with an established practice that is ready for you. If you are a Rheumatologist looking for a sustainable schedule, strong earning potential, and a community that genuinely needs what you do — we want to hear from you. Apply today and let's start the conversation.
