We’re seeking a skilled CRNA to join a hospital team in Simpsonville, SC for a locum tenens assignment running from September 28, 2026 through March 29, 2027. You’ll work primarily with adult and geriatric patients across a broad surgical mix — general, OB/GYN, ENT, and orthopedics — in a busy facility with an average census around 200.

Schedule and coverage

• Clinical shifts Monday–Friday: either 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10-hour) or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour).
• On-call: weekdays 3:00 PM–7:00 AM; weekends are 24-hour home call.
• Call response time: 30–45 minutes.
• Coverage type: clinical plus call, home call only.

What you’ll do

• Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Manage and operate anesthesia equipment and continuously monitor patients intraoperatively.
• Participate in the home-call rotation and respond within required timeframe.
• Work collaboratively with an anesthesia care team and support staff, including one anesthesia tech, to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Facility and tools

• Hospital setting using Epic EMR.
• Standard anesthesia equipment available on site.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina nursing license.
• NBCRNA board certification.
• DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum two years of CRNA experience.
• Clean malpractice history required.
• Note: local providers within 60 miles are not eligible.

Privileges and onboarding

• Hospital privileges required.
• Credentialing timeline: up to 4 months with an active SC license; expect 5–6 months without an active SC license.
