Locums Urologist — Long-Term Midwest Role, 2w/2w Schedule, No Call, Da Vinci Onsite

Job Description

Join a well-supported practice as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage. This role offers a consistent, predictable schedule with excellent work-life balance and access to advanced surgical technology.

Assignment details

  • Preferred duration: 1 year or longer
  • Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible)
  • Preferred start: August 2026 (credentialing dependent)
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • No call required
  • Clinical responsibilities: clinic and OR coverage—typically four clinic days and one OR day per week
  • Facilities: dedicated clinic space, Da Vinci Xi robotic system onsite
  • Lodging: facility-provided lodging available during assignments, based on availability

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Urology residency/fellowship (or equivalent foreign training)
  • Current eligibility through the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery
  • Active Michigan medical license, Michigan Controlled Substance License (CDS), and Michigan DEA registration

Experience requirements

  • Performed at least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months reflective of requested privileges, or
  • Successfully completed an accredited Urology residency or fellowship within the past 12 months
