Emergency Medicine Physician — $250/hr, Up to $75K Sign-On, Flexible Schedules in Pittsburg, KS

Our 16-bed emergency department sees about 19,000 visits a year and offers a broad case mix supported by robust imaging, specialists, and ancillary services.

• Team-based model with six emergency physicians and two advanced practice providers
• Strong culture of mutual support—physicians cover shifts for one another and stay connected via regular monthly meetings (remote and in-person)

Schedule and workload

• Flexible scheduling designed for sustainability and physician well-being
• Shift options: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Full-time expectation: 120 hours per month

Compensation and perks

• $250 per hour
• Up to $75,000 sign‑on bonus and up to $50,000 retention bonus

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician with solid emergency department experience
• Eligible for or able to obtain unrestricted Kansas medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment, a patient-centered approach, and excellent communication and teamwork skills
