Emergency Medicine Physician - Rural Plainview, TX | Flexible 1099 Schedule, $280–$290/hr

Join a close-knit emergency department in Plainview, Texas, where you’ll practice high-quality medicine in a well-supported, low-volume rural setting. We’re looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician who values flexible scheduling, collaborative teamwork, and a balanced lifestyle.

• 49-bed Emergency Department with Level IV trauma designation
• A clinical team that typically includes 5 physicians and 3 APPs

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, effective emergency care for a broad range of acute medical and traumatic conditions
• Rapidly stabilize and manage trauma and medical emergencies
• Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient encounters efficiently in EPIC

Who we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABEM or physicians with Emergency Medicine experience preferred)
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience required
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent teamwork, and clear communication skills
