Remote Telehealth Cognitive & Behavioral Neurologist — Dementia Specialist (US)

Provide comprehensive virtual neurologic care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders through a fully telehealth model, expanding access to specialty care nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, cognitive assessments, diagnosis, and longitudinal management of neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, care planning, and coordination with community resources.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (APPs, behavioral health specialists, care coordinators) to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Serve as a clinical leader: supervise, mentor, and provide clinical oversight for APPs across multiple states; ensure adherence to clinical protocols and telehealth standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, documentation review, and compliance activities related to telemedicine practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in virtual settings; document encounters in the electronic medical record.

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
• Board Certification in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
• Strong clinical expertise in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for virtual patient, family, and team interactions.
• Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Preferred qualifications

• Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology.
• Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice model.
• Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
• Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
