Job Description
Join a national, fully virtual practice delivering specialized care to people living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. You’ll use telehealth to expand access to expert neurology care, provide comprehensive evaluations, and help shape a coordinated, compassionate approach to cognitive health.
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough tele-neurology assessments and longitudinal management for patients with memory and cognitive disorders.
- Manage complex neurodegenerative conditions and tailor treatment plans that reflect the latest evidence and patient goals.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—APPs, behavioral health specialists, care coordinators—to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
- Serve as a clinical leader by supervising APPs across multiple states and ensuring adherence to clinical and telehealth best practices and compliance standards.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families in a virtual setting, supporting shared decision-making and care planning.
Compensation & benefits
- $260,000–$276,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Minimum qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
- Board Certification in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
- Strong skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and working within interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent virtual communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Behavioral/Cognitive (Cognitive and Behavioral) Neurology.
- Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice model.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
