Join a growing telehealth team based in San Diego, CA, delivering expert, compassionate care to people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and related cognitive disorders through a fully virtual model. You’ll expand access to specialty neurology nationwide while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
In this role you will perform comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and collaborate with APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators. You’ll also take on a clinical leadership role—supervising APPs across multiple states and ensuring adherence to clinical and telehealth standards.
Compensation & benefits
- Salary range: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual cognitive and neurobehavioral assessments and follow-up visits
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for dementia and related disorders
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers across state lines
- Maintain compliance with telehealth best practices and clinical quality standards
Minimum qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
- Board Certification in Neurology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred)
- At least 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders
- Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments
- Strong communication skills for patient, family, and team interactions
- Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models
