Job Description
Join a national, fully virtual neurology practice based in Boston, MA, delivering specialized care for Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. You will provide expert, compassionate care via telehealth while expanding access to subspecialty neurology nationwide.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations and longitudinal management of patients with memory and cognitive disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor disease progression, and coordinate care for complex neurodegenerative conditions.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators, to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
- Serve as a clinical leader by supervising APPs across multiple states and maintaining adherence to clinical and telehealth standards, policies, and quality metrics.
- Support clinical program development, contribute to best practices for virtual cognitive assessment, and participate in continuous quality improvement.
Compensation & benefits
- Salary range: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.
Minimum qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
- Board Certification in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
- Strong skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and virtual communication with patients and families.
- Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology.
- Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
