Job Description
Join a growing virtual neurology team delivering compassionate, expert care for patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive disorders. From your home base in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you’ll provide fully virtual evaluations and ongoing management, helping expand access to specialized cognitive care across the country.
What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations and follow-ups for patients with memory and cognitive concerns.
- Manage complex neurodegenerative conditions using evidence-based approaches and the latest therapies.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Provide clinical leadership by supervising APPs across multiple states and supporting adherence to clinical and telehealth best practices.
Compensation & benefits
- $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.
Required qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
- Board Certification in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual interactions with patients, families, and team members.
- A commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
- Fellowship training in Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology or equivalent clinical experience is strongly preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology.
- Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice model.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
- Experience working within integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
