Remote Locum PA – Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatry (Flexible Hours, $120/hr, 1099)

Location: Remote (Pennsylvania-licensed clinicians only)
Engagement: Locum tenens, 1099 contract

Overview
Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistant to provide remote, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and young adults. This role requires independent clinical practice within a collaborative virtual care team.

Schedule

• Minimum 10 hours per week
• Availability during peak demand: weekdays after 3:00 PM ET and/or flexible weekends

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments via telehealth
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions for patients ages 2+
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications; maintain DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Document accurately and promptly in the EHR
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure continuity of care

Compensation & Support

• Pay: $120/hour (1099)
• Professional liability insurance provided
• Dedicated administrative support to reduce non-clinical tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certified
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PA license
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• At least 2 years of psychiatric clinical experience as a PA
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent populations (ages 2+) strongly preferred
• Proficient with telehealth platforms, EHRs, and digital communication tools
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet connection
