Lead Vascular Surgeon — Program Builder (Board-Certified/Eligible) — Denver Metro Area

A regional healthcare system northwest of Denver seeks a full-time, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible vascular surgeon to establish and lead a growing vascular surgery program. This role combines clinical practice, procedural care, and program development within an established hospital system and a collaborative surgical team.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop a comprehensive vascular service line (elective and acute care)
• Provide outpatient clinic care and perform open and endovascular procedures
• Participate in call coverage and in-hospital consultations
• Lead program growth, quality improvement, and clinical integration efforts in partnership with hospital leadership
• Mentor staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiology, radiology, primary care, wound care)

Compensation & benefits

• Guaranteed base salary at the 2026 MGMA median: $625,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Eligibility for Colorado medical licensure
• Experience with open and endovascular procedures preferred
• Demonstrated interest/ability in program development and clinical leadership
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
