Regional Medical Director NYC (Bronx) | $275315K, Team Leadership & Clinical Mentorship

We’re looking for an experienced, licensed physician to join our team as a hands-on leader who balances clinical practice with team development. Based in The Bronx with responsibilities across the NYC area, you’ll guide and grow our clinical programs while providing direct patient care as needed.

Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package.

What you’ll do

• Provide patient care to support clinical operations, stepping in as needed to maintain high-quality services.
• Spend 3–4 days per week visiting sites to mentor, train, and develop clinical staff.
• Oversee medical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Work closely with administrative teams and interdisciplinary partners to streamline clinic workflows and improve patient outcomes.
• Design and implement training programs to strengthen clinical skills and foster professional growth.
• Monitor clinical practices and quality metrics to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Lead utilization management and value-based care initiatives to optimize care delivery and resource use.
• Support strategic growth by helping integrate primary care services, recruiting and onboarding providers, and expanding clinical programs across the organization.

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Active New York medical license, DEA registration, Medicare and Medicaid provider IDs.
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, ideally overseeing multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to mentoring and developing staff.
