Job Description

Join a multidisciplinary, patient-centered team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role offers a mix of surgical and nonsurgical practice within a collaborative group of orthopedic, spine, and rehabilitation specialists. It’s an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a respected regional practice and includes involvement with a private specialty surgical hospital.

  • General neurosurgery call within a Level III system, supported by experienced partners

Compensation & benefits:

  • Target compensation around $700,000 (plus/minus based on experience)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, including surgical and nonsurgical management of complex conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in shared call coverage to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices within the department

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty (spine, cranial, or endovascular) preferred
  • Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
  • Ability to function effectively in a multi-specialty practice setting
