Location: Belleville, New Jersey (also opportunities in Denville)

Summary:
Join a hospitalist OB/GYN team focused on delivering consistent, expert care to every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital. Work collaboratively with local obstetricians while maintaining a strong work/life balance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including management of obstetric emergencies
  • Triage and assess pregnant patients presenting to the hospital and determine appropriate interventions
  • Coordinate care with labor and delivery staff, anesthesiology, neonatology and consulting services
  • Document clinical care, participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow hospital protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families and referring clinicians

Schedule and compensation:

  • Full-time hospitalist position; flexible scheduling with ability to build your own schedule
  • Typical workload: 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (approximately 21 days off per month)
  • No on-call responsibilities or office management duties
  • Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one
  • Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide high-quality inpatient OB/GYN care
  • Strong communication, teamwork and patient-centered care skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement
