Position overview
Join a hospitalist OB/GYN team providing expert, consistent inpatient care for pregnant patients presenting to the hospital. Work collaboratively with local obstetricians while maintaining a strong work/life balance. The role focuses on patient safety, quality improvement, and high-quality clinical care.

Compensation and schedule

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist position; design your own schedule
• Typical workload: 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (approx. 21 days off monthly)
• No on-call responsibilities or office management duties

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
• Manage obstetric emergencies and emergent deliveries
• Coordinate care with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Louisiana medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
