Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Phoenix, AZ (Hospital-Based, High-Acuity Trauma)

This role supports a high-acuity trauma center and involves working with an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative, well-resourced setting.

Schedule

• 183 total 24-hour shifts annually
• Blocked scheduling with 7-day coverage stretches
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Key responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage for a high-acuity center
• Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, ICU, and emergency medicine teams
• Balance operative cases, inpatient management, and clinic follow-up
• Maintain timely documentation and uphold high standards of patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
• Experience with high-acuity trauma preferred
• Strong expertise in pelvic and acetabular fracture care highly preferred
• Eligible for Arizona medical license and able to obtain/maintain hospital privileges
