Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care for adults
• Perform initial assessments, obtain medical histories, and evaluate risk
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions; order and interpret tests; prescribe medications; develop treatment plans
• Deliver preventive care and patient education
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and maintain timely communication
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable (stipend provided)
• Maintain schedule punctuality to ensure timely patient visits

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM); Board Eligible must be within 5 years of residency completion
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in primary care or urgent care; supervisory experience preferred
• Active Texas medical license and DEA registration in good standing
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
