Glaucoma Specialist (Ophthalmology) — Brown University Health, Providence RI

Brown University Health seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Glaucoma Specialist to join a collaborative Ophthalmology department in Providence, RI. This position offers a mix of clinical practice and academic involvement within an established referral network and access to two fully equipped surgical centers (Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA).

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical management and surgical care for glaucoma patients.
• Perform glaucoma procedures and surgeries at available surgical centers.
• Collaborate with a team of 12 ophthalmology providers to deliver comprehensive primary and specialty eye care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care and referral management.

Academic and teaching responsibilities

• Active involvement in a residency program with Brown-affiliated medical students.
• Opportunity to teach and mentor Physician Assistant students during clinical rotations.
• Contribute to education, training, and mentorship activities.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary range: $225,000–$325,000 plus RVU-based productivity incentives.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
