Locums General Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Level III Trauma, $4050/Shift, Travel & Malpractice Covered

We’re looking for a General Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role centers on managing acute orthopedic trauma in both the emergency department and inpatient settings, working closely with emergency medicine, hospitalists, trauma surgeons, advanced practice providers, and the surgical support team.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and treat patients with traumatic musculoskeletal injuries in a Level III trauma center.
• Manage fractures and related injuries using both operative and non-operative approaches.
• Provide timely consultations for ED and inpatient cases and participate in trauma call coverage as part of the orthopedic team.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality.

Compensation

• $4,050 per shift.

What we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma is preferred.
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment with experience managing complex trauma cases.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
