Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Bradenton, FL (FSED & Main Hospital)

We are seeking Emergency Medicine locum tenens physicians to cover shifts at a main hospital and a newly opened Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Bradenton, Florida. These state-of-the-art facilities began operations in Summer 2024 and deliver comprehensive emergency care to Manatee County and surrounding communities.

Key Details

• Start: Summer 2024 (exact date TBD; allow up to 2 months for credentialing)
• Minimum commitment: 4–6 shifts per month
• Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage daily with flexible day and night shifts available
• Provider requirements: EM-trained and currently board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine; ATLS certification minimum; current Florida medical license and DEA required

• Expected annual volume: >8,000 patient visits
• EMR: Meditech P-doc with M-Modal dictation
