Outpatient Physiatrist (PM&R) — Brown University Health, Providence RI

Brown University Health is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible physiatrist to join an expanding outpatient practice in Providence, RI. You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting alongside PT, OT, SLP, audiology, and aquatic therapy teams, helping to grow our neurorehabilitation, electrodiagnostic, musculoskeletal, and oncology programs. The role emphasizes comprehensive, goal-focused care across the lifespan and offers opportunities to lead service-line growth and teach residents and medical students.

What you’ll do:

• Provide outpatient, non-interventional PM&R care with a focus on musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation patients.
• Perform EMG/NCV diagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures (preferred).
• Collaborate closely with therapists, social services, educators, and community partners in a transdisciplinary model.
• Optionally cover inpatient service one weekend per month.
• Champion evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans and contribute to program development and leadership.

What we’re looking for:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure.
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team; 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred but not required.

Compensation & benefits:

• Salary range $300,000–$420,000 depending on experience, plus RVU-based bonuses and incentives.
